Industry and Community Partners
Our students are introduced to the real-world of the culinary and baking industries through our externship program, employment opportunities during school, and career services after graduation. To ensure that our students and graduates have opportunities to pursue that fit their interests and career aspirations, Le Cordon Bleu has partnerships with a wide variety of employers looking for students and graduates to put their Le Cordon Bleu education to work. Our partners range from locally-owned to national chains, and include restaurants, catering companies, bakeries, hotels, management companies, foodservice, corporate cafeterias, entertainment companies, resorts, and cruise ships. Our career services and academics staff strive to match our students and graduates with the externship employment opportunities that will best meet the goals of the student and serve the needs of the company.
We continually seek to build new foodservice alliances, locally, nationally, and worldwide, to help students acquire valuable experience and assist employers in finding trained culinarians and bakers. We also offer career fairs, employer spotlights, and are available for community service events. In addition, Le Cordon Bleu may be able to offer a matching scholarship to employees of companies which offer a tuition reimbursement benefit for certificates and degrees in culinary education.
And our Talent Network – In conjunction with CareerBuilder, Le Cordon Bleu’s online job search tool offers a national reach to make it easy for our industry partners to find professionally-trained culinary and baking professionals to add to their teams.
Le Cordon Bleu also partners with employers to design and offer continuing education classes and programs for their current culinary and baking professionals. Our chefs will work with yours to identify the learning objectives for a training program, design the training pulling from our own curriculum and tailoring to your needs, and can offer the courses at our campuses, your facilities or even online.
To find out more, if you’re an Independent or small restaurant interested in becoming part of our externship program or hiring students or graduates, contact your local Le Cordon Bleu campus.
